People come and go in my life. I used to take it pretty hard a long time ago and I've come to accept this fact as my reality. I've learn not to waste my time on people who are not worth it. Now, I only keep a small list of the people who matter; those I love and wanna protect.

Bak chor is in that list. She's got Timmy (that's what she calls her tummy) checked out recently and the result was pretty alarming. Am hoping for the best for her.

I have known this girl since long ago when we're in secondary school. We didn't talk at all back then I think. It's like I knew who she was and she knew who I was but just didn't had the chance to interact I guess?

Then we went to the same poly, didn't talk much. The boyfriend didn't like my Crazy Elephant job and I had to find another part time job. So, Kristal got me this job at S&P which turned out that Huiwen worked there too! We started talking more and we hit it off very well.

Now, she works at Citi on the same floor as me. What a coincidence right? There are so many banks here in Singapore, and we worked for the same one. Citi is so big, there are so many branches/back offices, and we work in the same building, on the same floor.

She's a special friend. We're not that close but I feel that she knows me. It's really amazing to know someone like her.

Enough of the lengthy introduction, shall let the pictures do the talking!

I still remember the time...

when we would talk on the phone for hours till the morning

when we would go for long walks by the river

when we would sit by that river and play that silly aeroplane game

when we would sit by that river and talk about everything and anything, with me in your arms
when I realised I am still capable of the love I yearned for

I'm so grateful that I get to share the last 5 years of my life with the one who had completed me, the one who made me who I am today, the one who taught me how to love again.

Happy 5th year anniversary Hubby! I love you more with every breath I take. Let's have the phone calls, the long walks, and play that silly aeroplane game till we're grey and old.

With Ah mei na's recommendation, we've decided to try out this place at Simpang Bedok - Badoque. I LOVE this place. The food is great, the service is superb (I'm hard to please when it comes to customer service. So when I say it's good, it's extraordinary.), the ambience and all is just okay though.

Life is short

The junction near my block is very prone to car accidents and most of them involved motorcycles. I really really hate motorcycles, like to the core. To me, people who ride the motorcycle do not treasure life at all. Yes, it is more affordable than a four-wheel, and it is great in a traffic jam. So what? Are you willing to give up your life for the convenience? Go ahead with the motorcycles/scooters if the answer is yes.

I saw an accident on my way home last wednesday. The motorcyclist was lying in the middle of the junction. There were a lot of onlookers, not helping the situation at all, just wanna k-poh. Some guys volunteered to help with the traffic.

I stood there for quite some time, just looking at the poor guy lying on the road with his helmet on. I wasn't related to him in any way and I'm already drowning in the sadness of it all. Couldn't help but to think about the people who loves him, the people he loves, whether if he was in his way to meet his loved ones, if anyone who matters to him knew that he was in that situation.

Life is short and unpredictable. Let those who matter to you know that you love them. Stop counting your days, make them count. Psycho someone to sell his/her bike away.

I would love to ride on a Vespa though, just for 100m.

I had issues with her a long time back. Well not so long, just June last year I think. (This was written in August 2009. So last June was June 2008) Shall not go into the details. But we've became even closer after that.

She's like an elder sister to me.
She'll constantly show concern about the crisis I'm facing.
She'll ask about Black Hairpins.
She's always there for me whenever the boyfriend and I got into fights.
She gives me advices in situations I can't deal with.
She gave me a call in the middle of a random night telling me random stuffs, and it makes me happy.

She and her group of friends are one of the most wonderful people I've met. They are the people I'd consider family. They are friends who don't choose who should be in the clique or not. Everybody's respected. Everybody's feelings are cared for. And everybody loves everybody. I am so glad that I met the boyfriend. Without him, I would never have known such wonderful people.

OMGOMGOMFGWTFWTFWTF!!!! I'M DONE WITH THE LAST EXAM OF MY LIFE. NO MORE FREAKING NIGHT CLASSES, NO MORE CRAPPY FOOD IN SIM, NO MORE UNBEARABLY BAD SERVICE FROM SIM, NO MORE $4K SCHOOL FEES EVERY 6 MONTHS AND ETERNAL FREEDOM FROM FINANCE PAPERS!!!!

Pardon me. I need a place to relieve the excitement which is building up in me. The boyfriend's having his last exam for this semester tomorrow, so I can't disturb him at all.

The feeling is incredibly unbelievable. I've been thinking about how my life would pan out after I get my degree. It is happening right now. Everything I've been looking forward to is happening right now and it feels so good I can't find a word to describe it. All I can say is my awesome life awaits me!!! (:

My last finance paper!!!

The title says it all! I'll be having my last finance paper in my whole entire life next Tuesday!!! Come 2nd of June, I'll know if I cleared my last semester. So many exciting plans awaiting!! (:

With so much excitement in me, it's even harder to stay focused for the last paper. Please let me pass!

Forget about the price tag

My dad's watching the MTV of Jessie J's Price Tag on cable tv, right at this very moment. So amusing.

Anyways, I've been updating pretty frequently lately. Trying to find something to do besides flipping through the notes. I'm 9 days away from my 1st paper and not prepared at all. Not even 10% prepared. It's okay for me. For 23years of my life, I have never studied way before the exams. I'm always the last min, used very little effort and still able to sail through everything. So a week, even if it's a day before the exams, would be good enough for me. Let's hope my last sem would be just like all the past exams I've taken.

Been thinking through the choices I have after graduation. Have got 3 choices in my mind. I don't like what I'm doing right now, but I don't hate it. It's just monotonous, boring 8-5 job, sickening morning crowd and the list goes on. I've already been here for 3 years now. Only thing that's making me stay is the pay. I'm paid pretty well here, competitive rates I'd say. That is also the reason why I find it difficult to leave. I'll come up with The Decision by end of the year! We shall see.

I think I'm balding! I have a lot of hair, on my head that is, and I never have to worry about hair loss and stuff. I've got like this side fringe thingy going on and it's causing a balding situation around the parting area. I thinking of going back to bangs! But bangs is super leceh and it is always poking into my eyes.

Found an old picture on fb. One of the tanning sessions long ago. This is the tanned shot, still crazy fair. And my face was pretty! Okay, I'm on it again. HAHA! Shall stop before the nagging begins!

Can you guys tell that I suck at decision making through all this rambling? Hate to make decisions.

Hola!!!

Hey what's up!!! I'm finally updating something here! Apologies for the long hiatus! That is if anyone is still following this blog. Just realised my last post was half a year ago. I actually have many drafts saved but not complete. Anyway, since March is my favourite month for the most obvious reason, I shall post the 1st entry on the last day!

Life's pretty much same old same old, I guess. I mean I'm still with the same company I'm ranting about, still with the same awesome boyfriend, still taking the same boring degree, you get the drift right?

I will be graduating this year! *fingers & toes crossed... I really can't wait to end this thing because firstly, this is not my interest at all. Don't ask me why did I choose this in the first place. And secondly, I've been using this as an excuse for my pure laziness and procrastination for the last 2 years. 2 full years has passed since I started schooling and what have I achieved? Have to say I'm a little disappointed in myself. I mean look at the boyfriend. With his fucked up schedule in camp, he can still take the time out for his Colliding Luster, his social Ace, his studies & his driving. What's more amazing is that he still have time for me with all those going on in his life. That is pretty amazing right?

I wanna work towards that. Hopefully, by the end of 2011, my achievements of the year can make up a list. =)

Resolution for year 2011 (hope it's not too late):

1) Clear my last semester and convocate in August

2) Be more proactive at work (Hopefully can reach AM by end of year)

3) Save up my 1st 10k by end of this year. (So ambitious right... Hah!)

4) Spend more time with my family (At least 1 occasion spent together every month)

5) Come up with the Decision by end of year

6) Visit the dentist (I can't even remember when was the last time I visited one. It is that bad.)

Let's see if I can accomplish all of these by end of 2011!

I've just turned 23 years old 4 days ago. The best birthday since my 21st!!! Celebrated with Cliquees love, the wonderful people in the office, awesome group - Bites and the boyfriend was able to celebrate with me! Going on 5 years into the relationship, he never once celebrated my birthdays properly with me. Army reasons, NLP and all. He always make it up with the gorgeous gifts though. But nothing beats his company on this special day of mine! =)

Doesn't work...

2 days MC.

Been popping paracetemol since last sunday night, hoping that the damn fever will go away. Oh wells, fever and cough is still around after 4 days of self-prescribed medication.

Doctor said it was a mild lung infection. No wonder the fever and cough is so persistent in staying. =X Gave me some strong antibiotics before this turns into Pneumonia. Had that when I was young. Hospitalised for 2weeks. I kindda like secretly enjoyed it though. Loved the gifts, daddy sleeping over with me every night, the piggybacks I get, daddy feeding me with my favourite Char Siew Rice, the love from everyone...

Anyway, we've got a sound recording in the studio tomorrow night to complete the casting for The Cloud. Cough will be better by then. *fingers crossed

Speaking of The Cloud, it is this short clip that LOVE and I are doing for fun. A couple of months ago, The Galeria posted up a shout out on their facebook wall, looking for a real couple for this shoot that they're doing. Btw, LOVE and I are big fans of Brian's work. His wedding pictures are mad awesome!

Okay, back to the short clip, so LOVE emailed Brian our interest in this and we were called for an interview. That's how we got this casting opportunity.

Brian from the Galeria is our videographer, and Jef's the Director. They're both taking part in this competition called Parallel Lines by Philips. Go check it out, it's pretty cool. A standard dialogue is to be used in each entry so it's totally up to your creativity to come up with the storyline. I will not be revealing anything here. Wait for the end production! Oh ya, we're doing the dialogue in mandarin. Stay tuned! (:

I am so so so looking forward to the short clip, with the editing and all. I believe it would be good and all the painful sunburn and awkward tan lines will be worth it! Don't worry, I'll definitely be sharing it here! A memory worth keeping for good. (:

Hey there! Apologies for the hiatus.

Let's see... I'm done with my Year 1 2nd semester already. Results will be out on 3rd June. A pass is all I'm hoping for, yeah it's that bad. And the killer semester starts July. Ah mei and I are determined to work harder, and we'll start off by not sitting next to each other. She's the bad influence, not me. =X HA!

Work is way better now but the whole system just doesn't work for me. Can't wait for my own farewell.

The crisis I'm facing is much better already but it's still far from what I'm aiming for.

The other grandma's diagnosed with cancer. I'm hopeful though. She'll be the one tough cookie because I know she will be there for my wedding, to see me have my own kids.

I know everything will get better, it always does. Oh well, at least I choose to believe so.

Howdy people!!! I know I've been gone for quite a bit.

I have been so BUSY. Seriously. I have been wanting to blog since like eons ago. And now, I've finally got a tiny bit of time to do so!!

I'm like having this very tough time in life right now. Juggling between school, work, Black Hairpins and a lil family stuff. And as the close ones might have known, self-esteem is at all time low. Can you just imgaine, that one thing that makes you stand out a little, gives you the full confidence and attention is now gone? It's getting much better already though and I'm really glad. I know it'll take some time but I really can't wait for it to be back, stat! I'm very positive that it will be back soon and when it does, it'll bring back all the confidence and attention.

And so I'm really thankful that I'm not going through all these alone.

The boyfriend has been super doting, loving, sensitive, patient and supportive. This thing that's going on for months has really been bothering me and I somehow feel it has changed me, for the worse. Despite my short-temper, bad attitude and random tantrums, the boyfriend is still always there with me through all the hard times, reassuring me and showering me with all the love that he could possibly give. Thanks LOVE! ♥ you!!!

There's also this girlfriend who is constantly showing concern about this thing. She's like an elder sister to me you know. Results for my first semester is out already. It's not bad, could have been better though. I'm contented with 1 distinction and 2 credits (:
And not forgetting my look-alike, she has been such a great partner and support in Black Hairpins. I'm really glad that I've got her with me to always make things work.

Did my year end appraisal. And it was surprisingly good. Totally unexpected. A very good rating I'd say. And hopefully it comes with a fat bonus and a pretty increment!! (:

Work was really slow today. Everything just couldn't work for everybody. And I've got a really good news today! Went through the 226 emails in my inbox and sadly, only 1 made me really happy.

I'm awarded the F1 driver award again!

Hate the exams sia. Or rather, hate the dates. Because of stats, I can't join for the Cambodia trip, and I can't even spend the last night with the boyfriend before he leaves for Cambodia. I know it's only been a few days, but I'm a sticky girlfriend. URGH... I don't like how I'm feeling now.

Enough of the boring exams! After friday, everything shall be over and done with. At least for this semester.

Had a not-so-fruitful study session with Ah mei at the library in school. Oh wells... We tried, but were too tired.

Luckily, Daddy was kind enough to fetch us home after that. The 1.5hrs trip home can be pretty torturing.

The funny thing is when we're back home, Daddy raised his voice at mummy for some random stuffs. And I was like, see! Told you I inherited your temper.

Oh! Something I'm very proud of myself! I drank 2 litres of water for 2 days consecutively. Something I thought was never possible for me. Skin will be super dry because of the new medication. I reckon the best way for the skin to stay hydrated is to be soaked in water! I'm lovin' it! (:

Yes, it's berry!!! Wokays, I know I just changed my phone. But I've always wanted a Blackberry. Kris has got lobang at a better price. And the one I want is not even available in Singapore yet. The upcoming phone to look out for, right in my palms. How tempting...

Considering the economic crisis currently going on in both of my bank accounts, I better think twice. And and I still love my reddie! Major loves for everything in reddddd!!!!! AHAHA!!

Am back from BKK!!! Trip is too short I feel. BUT IT WAS FUN!!! It's always fun with BITEs and the boyfriend! (: Didn't buy as much as I thought I would. It was a shopping frenzy for my shopaholic boyfriend though! HAHA!

Am so in love with the 5 bags I got! So pretty! But I still want that Kate Spade! Am living in deficit still...

Macro final exam on wednesday morning and I've yet to start on the revision. Fucking depressed! URGH...

It's been a rainy day and I so wanna snuggle up in my bed with the air-con. But I can't...Macro is haunting me down. Yes, it's that bad.

Planned to end work later today. Wanted to like finish as much as I can, help the rest abit and I can finally work on my month-end report tomorrow. *Hates month-end!!!

But tremors were felt at around 6plus. I felt so dizzy (I thought was because I'm hungry already =X HA!) and I can really feel the building shaking. Everyone was asked to evacuate. We were still contemplating whether or not to just stay in the office and ignore it. It's pretty common. I heard the colleagues experience it like every year at the office =X Everyone left in the end, except for this lady. Claimed that she's bought insurance. HAHA!

Was watching Chris & Fann's wedding on Channel 8 with mummy just now. Millions of thoughts were like flashing in my mind. Didn't like her dress at all man. And that 10kg worth of jewellery was okay only. Oh wells... So much for the anticipation.

I've always loved weddings since young. I don't know why exactly but it makes me happy. I'd always break into a smile and end off with tears in my eyes whenever I think about my own wedding. It'd be the happiest and most touching event of my life I think.

I'm looking forward to it! Ironically, I don't want time to pass so soon. Am hating the growing up part... =X

For now, I have 2 weddings to look forward to!!! One of which I'll be actively involved in. So happy for that couple, 8 years and counting on... Sweeettt!!!

I just found out like a minute ago that my primary school bestfriend is like married? I'm not shocked by the fact, but rather the groom maybe? Oh wells, maybe he's got a good heart. =X We used to be close but not anymore. Shall not comment so much. But still, all the best to her man.

The funeral has ended last Friday.

Yes I am totally worn out...

Juggling between work & school is really taxing man. Like literally have to change mode know. 8.30am-5.30pm, working mode. 7pm-10pm, studying mode. Fucking mentally taxing la. Good thing is my dad offered to fetch me after school. It's really good cuz like I'll reach home at 10.30pm sharp. And I'll be in bed by 11pm. Thats like the time I normally go to bed.

But the saddest thing is, my dad can no longer fetch me home after school starting next week. OH MAN!! Shall not go into the details.

Brother is sent to the hospital just now. Fever's not coming down. Think he's H1N1 positive. =X Mum is like freaking worried. Hope he'll be fine soon.

I think I can't really handle stress man. Like seriously. I hate it when my mum starts nagging. Nag about my dad, nag about the bills, nag about my aunties. I know she's stressed and she just wanna like let it out. But I can't handle it.

Know what I did? I fucking throw my tantrums at her. Raised my fucking voice and shut her up. I'm so good at this. Throwing my temper just to be in the upper hand. URGH.

Okay, enough of the ramblings.

Did my mid-year appraisal today. Was better than I expected. Like seriously, I thought she's gonna zoom into all my weakness, prolly also ask me to stop talking to all the others in the office and spend more time to polish up my credit evaluation skills. Luckily, it wasn't as bad as I thought. *Big money big money* HAHAHA!!!

And yes, I'm sick like again. I know man. Super weak immune system. But I've alr signed up for the flu jab already. Will be taking it in the office, date to be confirmed. Hate Needles!! =X URGH.

And I just found out that I'm allergic to high dosage of panadol! My eyes just swell up after taking 2 tabs of panadol flu. This is like back in the poly days! When I took some painkiller(Diclofenac) and my eye just swell up. Hilarious moment. Poong will remember! =p

And I gotta leave the class earlier man, and leave Ah mei alone in class again.
URGH....

Doctor thinks this might be H1N1, but I seriously doubt so. Doc is more concerned about my eyes than my fever. Advised me to go to the hospital immediately if eye got worse. =X But it's getting better la.

And I've got MC till Monday. Good rest for me. Hopefully everything will be better real soon!!!

Classes cancelled!

YEAH!! No school for the whole week!
But they're all shifted to Sunday, full day!!! For 2 Sundays in a row! =(

And like no one's informed? Everyone was like waiting for the class? We even went down to the students' affairs office and all they know is just to tell us to check the students' portal. Like hello? It is not even updated can? Time to complain again~

Means that my Sunday is burnt, 2 Sundays in a row man... And it also meant that I can't go for the off-site to Malacca this weekend! Was like looking forward to it man. The only thing I can look forward to besides the weekends and it's now officially taken away from me. =(

And yes, I'm down with a flu, like again....
Mucus is flowing out like running water. Like seriously, I think this is the first time that my mucus is non-gooey. It's like just water dripping out of my nose??? Like is this even possible? Boyfriend says this is the more serious kindda flu. =X

Gawd... I'm like falling sick every ~~fucking~~ month man, this is not good at all. Immune system is super weakkkk.... Am considering to go for the flu vaccine. =X URGH! HATE NEEDLES!!!!

No appetite for dinner at all. Managed to force some food down my throat though. So torturing... In need of the boyfriend's tender loving care... =( But boyfriend's down with the same flu, and he needs the same tender loving care from me too.. =X

Hola people!!!

Yes, I'm still alive and struggling in the office. =X URGH... Shall not go into the details.

School's starting in less than a month's time. Am not looking forward to it though. It's like a four-day week for the first 3 weeks man, like Monday to Thursday, 7pm-10pm!!! And 2 blardy years of hardship! No more living in luxury... =( Oh boy, I feel so depressed already man just by talking about it. Can I like fast forward these 2 years just so I can get my degree fast, end all the hardships and get that pay raise but can I like still be 21 after I get my degree? =X

Had a nice chat with Sam the other day while I was at work. A good half hour... We talked about a lot of stuffs, some very old stuffs. All the happy, sad, silly times, pretty much missed. Feels pretty damn good talking to someone about those good ol' times.

If anyone were to ask what would I choose if I were to be given any power, I'd say to turn back time. Not to change anything, but to re-live my life again.

That wasn't my answer until I thought about something the boyfriend said. 'Things will not be the same anymore if we were to change anything, even if it's the slightest change, it might just result in a very different outcome.' Certainly made a lot of sense to me.

I'd choose to re-live my life again because I wanna be young again. Not that I'm very old now. But like young enough not to have any responsibilities, young enough to still make mistakes and forgiveness would come so easily, young enough to be ignorant and do really silly stuffs and not care how people would think about me.

Oh, and I've been awarded the 'Outstanding F1 driver' Award. Receiving the award at the Quaterly Business Update at SMU. Feels really good to be recognised for my hard work. Another thing to beautify my resume and definitely a little motivation for me to work harder. (:

I love her and I know that this love is mutual.

For the fact that she'd always prepare breakfast for me, even though many a times I would raise my voice at her, blaming her for causing me to be late for work when it's not true.

She'd always let me have my way.

She'd always pray for my well being.

She'd always worry that I don't eat enough.

She'd always give me as much freedom as I want.

She'd always be so proud of me no matter what I choose to be.

She'd always get so worried when I'm out with my friends till late.

Boyfriend is still in Brunei, but he's got my day all planned out.

I was on time, and just as I expected, that someone who was supposed to meet me was late! And at 12plus, this unknown number called me.

I was like so shocked and puzzled, cuz I expected that I'll be meeting Ah Mei Na.

Turns out that the mystery person was really Ah Mei!
She was late, as usual..
And Zai (her boyfriend) suggested that he call me.

Today's the Credit Ops Appreciation day.
Buffet for breakfast at the office, served by all the SMGs (the people from the senior management level, basically to say the directors of different department)

And my boss told me her boss asked her to tell me that the buffet was for me. Oh right~ I'm soOooo honoured...

A cake for my advanced birthday celebration from the department. Was a little surprised cuz I expected it to come tomorrow instead.

And royce chocolates from my boss yesterday. So sweettt of her...

And somehow I'm just not that excited for my 21st, my not-so-big 21st...

Finally managed to drag my lazy ass to go get my mane fixed.
52 bucks, highlights + trim. Pretty cheap I'd say. Cuz the last time I spent 130bucks on my hair for that pathetic few strips of red... =X

Told the boyfriend I coloured my whole head chestnut brown instead. And he was like first it was bangs and now it's chestnut brown? Love his reaction... HA!!

And uh, I collected my new passport. The passport is nice but the photo is FUGLY. Comparable to my ic photo I tell you. For those who've seen my ic, you'll know what I mean. URGH...

Planned to start my training for sundown today, but hell it's like pouring right now? =X And no, that's not one of my excuses...

And I spoke to the boyfriend just now!!! He's completed one of the mission and is entitled one day off when he's back, being the only team to complete all the missions!! (:

The boyfriend's gone to Brunei already. Good thing is it's only 2 weeks. Like god damn 2 weeks?!!! =X HAHA!

MC on today. Been coughing for a week already. Nothing so serious, but I just thought that I deserve a break. And since the boyfriend's flight is pretty late last night, it just gives me more reasons to take a little break today.

And so I had a little day for myself today. Woke up late, go to the doctor's, ate maggie after a long time, took eeky medicine, trying to fix that god damn maxonline. Like wow, that sounds so interesting. =X HAHA!!

Weather's so HOTTT this afternoon!!! And it's really good to take some time, have a good shower with the bath lily, so foamy!!! Followed by a good scrub with the Pomegrenate body polish!! SWEETTTT!!! All from the Bodyshop sale!!! HAHA...

And I really enjoyed snuggling up in the cosy comforter with the big bear the boyfriend got for me, in the freezing air-con room after the bath. Reading the new book I just got from Kino members sale (many thanks to XueBin for the discount! Got 4 books, all by Cecelia Ahern! (: ), indulging in the macademia chocolates the boyfriend got for me... I can do this forever man. Could have been perfect if the boyfriend were to be around though.

The bears, and the uglydoll, all from the boyfriend. That's not all... I barely have space on my super small single-sized bed already!! =X I'm blessed with love, I know I am (:

Sidetrack, on a random nights-out, the boyfriend appeared on my doorstep with the big bear in his arms. AW... SO SWEETTT!!! Get jealous people!! =p

And I cannot believe that my birthday is just around the corner. It's just like what? Next friday man. I'm feeling restless about the whole thing man, since the boyfriend is not around and Poong is also not around... =( The boyfriend's been really sweet. He's got that day specially planned out already!!! Even when he's not gonna be around.

I'm looking forward to that surprise!!! I've got all the letters already! And seriously, I am so tempted to read them, and all at one time!!! Oh wells, you guys know me, please dont blame me for spoiling my own surprise if I do... =X I'm trying real hard man... HAHA...

But the boyfriend is not booking out at all this week! Not even a nights-out!! And I've missed him so much I can die. Like seriously, I think I barely see him these days. =(
